Talented. Hilarious. Hot. Angie Hartley is a singer/songwriter from Detroit, Michigan who has been entertaining and sharing her talent with the world since she was a child. Inheriting her love for the guitar from her great-grandfather, Hillbilly guitarist Wally Holcomb, and her cousin, Detroit legend Robert Gillespie, Angie learned how to play on a pre-war Martin by studying her favorites: No Doubt, the Beatles, the Clash, Britney Spears, the Shirelles, and Led Zeppelin. All of these artists left a lasting imprint on Angie and her music, inspiring her to create the infectious retro pop/rock songs she and her band play today! Angie’s sound is reminiscent of the old Detroit, yet fresh and exciting; her mix of melodic, memorable tunes and witty crowd work leave the audience wanting more! Angie’s debut single “Are You Lonely?” and the accompanying music video is a direct reflection of what you can expect from this eclectic star.
