Rob Zinck is an Alaskan singer/songwriter currently based in Metro Detroit. Since relocating to the Midwest, Rob has released four EPs; two with his longtime songwriting project The Means, one as the lead vocalist for Detroit garage rock band Lagerheads, and a solo demo under the name James Stuart Abbott. His “forever project” has become Rob Zinck & The Collaborators. With more than a decade’s worth of songs already written Rob continues adding to his catalogue of moody, indie-inflected punk rock with one goal in mind; to never stop.
The Hourlies are four Detroit scene vets that all reside somewhere in the space between garage rock, blues, punk, and psyche rock. The result is blues guitar hooks, played at the speed of punk, with just enough psychedelic chaos to keep things interesting.
