Parties FAQ

When you’re celebrating a special occasion, BLL wants you and your guests to arrive ready to relax, unwind, and have fun! The following information is intended to help you understand what to expect and how to be prepared for a great time.

How many lanes should I book?
We recommend no more than 5 players per lane per hour to get through a 10-frame game. For example, 6 or 7 lanes would be ideal for a group of 30.

Do I need to rent shoes?
Bowling shoes are required. They allow for proper form, safety, and maintenance of the lane approaches. Bowling shoes should only be worn inside. Bring ’em if you have ’em. Shoe rental is available for $3. per player. Please be prepared with a headcount when you arrive if you would like to cover this cost for your party.

What do you have for children?
We offer lighter balls, shoe sizes as small as toddler 6, bumpers on all lanes, and assistance ramps. Just let a staff member know what you need at the start of your session, or make a not in your online booking.

Do you offer party packages?
Our bowling and lounge rental services are “a la carte”, but our reservations coordinator can work with you to find availability and offer options for your event. For larger parties, we can quote a plan which can include bowling, shoe rentals, and exclusive lounge access.

Do you have food?
We currently offer stuffed pizza slices, made fresh, made local by Tania’s, delivered to us regularly and served warm. $3. Pepperoni, Cheese & Vegan. We also offer individual bags of Better Made chips and pretzels $1. We do not have a kitchen, and we are not a dining establishment, and, unlike large traditional bowling alleys, our small, boutique and themed upscale alley does not offer a food-focused experience. However, the local area offers many dining options nearby, which guests can opt to enjoy before or after the bowling and entertainment fun that our unique venue offers.

Can I bring food?
We welcome you to bring in food while our future kitchen plans are in progress. As courtesy to other bowlers on adjacent lanes, as well as on your lanes before and after your group, food service must be confined to the concourse area behind your lanes, set up, served and cleared during your bowling time. We recommend items that are simple to serve without utensils/serverware. No buffets, appliances or sterno heaters.

Can I bring in and set up food to enjoy while bowling?
Please be aware – No outside food permitted on the lanes or concourse. We offer one exception for Birthdays: Cupcakes / cookies welcome, requiring no plates, utensils, etc. No sheet cake or any type of communal service, please. Thank you for your understanding, and please enjoy our stuffed pizza slices and chips on site.

I would like to have my event catered.
If food service is an important part of your event plan, consider renting our cocktail lounge area which allows you to bring in outside food or arrange your own catering by an outside vendor. We set up covered buffet tables and more. Our event coordinator will provide you with all of the details, verify dates of availability and provide you with a formal quote. Submit your request here.

and welcome outside catering services. Unlike what you might expect in a large mega-entertainment complex, Bowlero Lanes & Lounge is a smaller, 16-lane boutique bowling alley. Be aware that concourse space is limited and reserved for nearby, active bowlers. Tables and tabletop space is limited, as well.

Do you have a room we can rent?
We have a beautifully decorated, retro-styled cocktail lounge / seating area adjacent to the bar. This an open space which features large window-counters overlooking the lanes. We can stanchion it off for exclusive access by your party. This is where you can serve your catered meal outside of your bowling times and with plenty of space, and it allows for your guests to trickle in, catch up, have a beverage or a bit and get ready for bowling action. Rates: $200./hr at prime times, $200./1st hr weekdays, $150. additional hours. Available Tue-Sat, up until 7:45PM (clear by 8pm for live entertainment), and Sun afternoons – exceptions some weeknights when no entertainment is booked.

Can I bring decorations?
Bowlero is a restored 50s-era neighborhood bowling alley. The recent restoration rendered a deliberate aesthetic designed to create a retro bowling atmosphere, curated by one of our co-owners, Kelly Elliott – an authority on mid-century decor. We encourage bowlers to take in and enjoy the environment as it is. If you’re celebrating a special occasion, please refrain from using tape on our hand-painted walls, and plan to keep decorations simple to allow time for yourself to enjoy your party. No confetti or silly-string please. Balloons? Be mindful of ceiling fans. Manage your time: setup and clean up of lane decor must occur during your lane time, and ALL FOOD AND DECORATIONS MUST BE disposed of or REMOVED from the building when your rental time concludes. Thank you for your understanding and we hope you love it as much as we do!

Can I bring 2-liters, bottled water and/or juice boxes?
Outside beverages of any kind are strictly prohibited. We offer a full bar, including water, fresh juices, lemonade and pop, available by the glass or the pitcher, with enough cups / glasses for all.

Adding lane time
Your reservation will be for a specific duration from your start time. Additional time is available at the end of your session only if there is not a wait list in progress.
