The original Jerry Garcia Band was a Garcia-led spinoff of the Grateful Dead that played Garcia-Hunter originals, R&B, gospel, Motown and reggae during breaks in the Dead’s schedule. Jerry’s Tone is a group of talented Michigan musicians led by guitarist Matthew Cole. This performance features keyboardist Dave on Keys, drummer Joe Waldecker, John Lyle on bass, and Laurie Lester on vocals.
