The Abruptors are an American ska band formed in Buffalo NY in 2015. The band is best known for its unique blend of traditional ska, soul, and reggae. The Abruptors have shared the stage with many major players in their genre, including The Slackers, Mustard Plug, The Aggrolites, MU330, The Planet Smashers, Big D and the Kids Table, Fishbone, The Toasters, Mephiskapheles and many more.

The Dirty Notion (Detroit, MI)
The Dirty Notion formed in order to give the scene a bit of the old mixed with the new. Musicians from around Detroit came together with a focus on the rocksteady and traditional ska sounds and the band was born.

The Write-Ups (Flint, MI)
The Write-Ups are a politically-driven, dirty ska band out of Flint, Michigan. A few different people around Flint decided to start a ska band as part of their midlife crisis. Songs were written to be danceable and get your ass shaking, while simultaneously singing about dark themes including police brutality, Rick Snyder poisoning children, overdose, death, and mental illness. What happened to my hairline? Get off my lawn!

K-Man & The 45s (Montreal, QC – Stomp Records)
K-Man & The 45s, where Ska meets Rock and Roll. One of Canada’s most well-known and loved Ska bands. Their relentless touring and hyper active live shows keep turning heads. Their critically acclaimed Self-Titled album came out in 2016 and there’s been no slowing down since (barring the pandemic blip). Fan favorite songs such as I Don’t Mind and Space Thriller cemented them in the scene while festival plays and relentless touring brought them to the four corners of the globe. Playing alongside greats like the Voodoo Glow Skulls, The Planet Smashers, The Original Wailers, Big D and The Kids Table, The Slackers levelled up their fanbase and live show.
