“Twitchy Prog Opera”
witchpucker is Dan Clark (guitar) and Sara Grosky (voice). Dan is a veteran of the Detroit music scene and uses this experience to enrich the harmonic content of their live sets. Sara, having worked with many Detroit free music folks, utilizes extended techniques to explore their sonic space. A stalwart in the Detroit experimental scene, witchpucker uses free improvisation to create ruminative sonic portals through spacetime.

Panto Collapsar
“Improvised Free Music” (or if this sounds catchier, “Free Jazz Science Fiction”)
Panto Collapsar is David Hurley (drums, percussion, zurna), Chris Peters (electric guitar), and Simon Ray (electronics, organ, accordion, feedback membrane). Formed in late 2020, Panto Collapsar leapt quickly into the Detroit free music scene with its dynamic mix of free improvisation, junk blues, and delicate ambient sound. A self-titled debut album, was released in May 2021 on 1473 and followed by a second, also self-titled, on Down Peninsula Audio later that year.

Shells
“Cerebral Guitar Meditations”
Shells is Shelley Salant’s solo guitar project. A wearer of many sonic hats and member of many (touring) bands, Shelley’s guitar playing comes in lush with a crackling punk wander tone and feedback squall.
